Job Description

Leapfin’s Tech Lead will drive the design and execution of elegant technical solutions and improvements to Leapfin’s SaaS Platform. The Tech Lead works closely with other software engineers and our product team to promote best practices, which assure code and architecture quality, control technical debt, improve code reviews, and promote collaboration. With foundational influence on our technology vision and engineering culture, this position provides a chance to do work you can be especially proud of.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive Leapfin’s technology vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Lead and mentor the engineering team in writing high-quality, performant, maintainable, and testable code
  • Collaborate with the product team to shape product specifications that lead to flexible, extensible, and robust implementations
  • Contribute to the design and development of backend architectures that address high workloads against AWS RDS Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Snowflake

Job Description:

Leapfin’s Full Stack Engineer will help build out the web infrastructure, back-end, and front-end of Leapfin’s SaaS Platform. Our platform handles a massive volume of financial data, so we’re looking for product-focused engineers interested in scalability and security. With no shortage of interesting problems to solve, our engineers have opportunities to work independently, mentor others, and collaborate as a team in addressing the most complex scenarios.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain Leapfin’s SaaS Platform across the entire technology stack
  • Develop automated orchestration solutions for multi-tenant deployments
  • Design and build distributed infrastructure services
  • Arrange monitoring and alerting services to continuously improve our SLA
  • Contribute to the design and development of backend architectures that address high workloads against AWS RDS Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Snowflake

Minimum Qualifications:

Job Description:

Leapfin’s Solutions Architect will usher new customers through Leapfin implementations and provide ongoing support post go-live. The Solutions Architect works closely with our product, engineering, and sales teams to scope and manage customer projects such that success is clearly defined, achievable with the product, and reached timely. As project manager, point of contact, and problem solver for our customers, this individual has variety in their days and develops deep expertise in both technical and non-technical areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead customer implementations through requirements gathering, scoping, implementation, UAT, and go-live
  • Diagnose data-related issues using SQL with JSON
  • Assist in pre-sales activities to evaluate prospective customers’ fit with Leapfin and compel them to become customers if so
  • Provide user training to customers during implementation and as-needed
  • Address customer inquiries (feature requests, bug reports, etc.) post go-live

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a field related to Information Technology or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven expertise in managing customer projects through to successful delivery
  • Hands-on experience using SQL and JSON
  • Exemplary skills related to customer management and project delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts, such as Revenue Recognition, Matching Principle, Order-to-Cash Reporting, Transactional Matching, and Reconciliation
