Technical Lead - Software Engineering

Job Description:

As the Technical Lead, you would collaborate with different teams within our engineering organization. You will take abstract concepts to elegant technical solutions in production with leadership and hands-on contribution through design, development, testing and deployment. You would work across teams and organizations to ensure that the architecture and design are of high quality, stable, scalable, and reliable. You would drive the technical design and the best engineering practices through design reviews, architecture reviews, and customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities (List in order of importance):

  • Help define and drive technology vision, strategy and roadmap to build enterprise capabilities (scalability, fault tolerance, extensibility, maintainability etc.)
  • Hands-on implementation of the critical interfaces and complex modules of the systems and features
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to drive key design decisions, document / communicate architectural expectations and ensuring alignment

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in CS or Engineering or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years of development experience with Java or Scala.
  • Must have a track record of building, deploying and scaling distributed, highly available, large scale, high performing multi-tenant SaaS applications
  • Must have sound understanding of failure modes, resiliency patterns, and techniques to enable robust, self-healing architecture
  • Must have experience building microservices and customer facing APIs

We are looking for a seasoned full-stack engineer to work with our existing core engineering team to build out the web infrastructure, back-end and front-end layers of Leapfin’s multi-tenant SaaS product. Job Description:

Leapfin is looking for a Sales Operations Manager to help ensure our Sales and Marketing organizations run efficiently and effectively as a unified machine towards a common goal. You will provide critical support to Sales and Marketing as well as Customer Success and Engineering.  

You’ll be instrumental in ensuring our processes and systems effectively enable the Sales and Marketing organizations to achieve their goals. In this role, ‘killing it’ means that the Sales and Marketing teams are hitting aggressive targets while day-to-day operations run smoothly. Some examples of your core responsibilities include implementation and administration of tools, forecasting, pipeline/metrics reporting, system support/updating, design and calculations of incentive compensation plans, unifying prospect to customer data, and operational reporting.

We have a lot of the basics in place, but there’s so much room to grow. We’ll count on you to help identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

Build, own, and manage our technology stack

  • Take ownership of Salesforce (SFDC), Outreach.io, Hubspot, and with an eye towards scale, anticipate, plan, and manage system growth and the needs of an evolving organization
  • Provide Salesforce (and other) ongoing user support and training

Ensure clean and accurate data

  • Ensure cleanliness of data integrity; and make system updates as needed
  • Support the demand generation team by maintaining a high-quality database through data enrichment, lead scoring and segmentation, lead routing, attribution models, and funnel optimizations to exceed targets
  • Outline organizational processes to help ensure continued data cleanliness and information accuracy

Support the organization’s ongoing operations

  • Track and report on pipeline and sales performance metrics through Salesforce, Outreach.io, and Hubspot
  • Provide regular and periodic updates to stakeholders in Sales and Marketing
  • Develop and publish weekly forecasting reports. Proactively follow-up on deals that need clarification and provide insight on quality of forecast and pipeline.
  • Assist with upsell and new revenue validation of all deals ensuring clean data and handover from Sales to Customer Success.
  • Provide thoughtful analysis on management dashboards to facilitate effective understanding of progress, achievements, and gaps; includes pipeline analysis, closed deal analysis, competitors, etc.
  • Support compensation planning through reporting and system updates
  • Provide expertise in managing audience segmentation, digital marketing campaigns, forms and email campaigns

Improve our way of doing business

  • Lead process improvement initiatives. Demonstrate thought leadership around sales processes and operations
  • Collaborate effectively with departments and cross-functional groups to ensure company goals are achieved
  • Develop and distribute ad hoc information requests as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years’ experience in a marketing or sales operations environment.
