What’s the job?

Leapfin’s Solutions Architect will build trusted partnerships with C-level executives and technical leaders, offering strategic and guidance to solve complex customer challenges and drive value. They will collaborate across teams to support go-to-market strategies, enable customer adoption, and contribute to revenue goals, while providing industry insights and feedback to improve Leapfin’s product and solutions. 

This role will be a key expert for our customers and will leverage their extensive experience working with accounting, billing, payment, and other ERP solutions to maximize Leapfin’s impact. Strong candidates will have a background in Accounting and Finance (CPA is a big plus!) and will act as both an external consultant to our customers and internal advisor to our own team members. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of accounting software - working on challenging problems at a global scale in a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Become the resident Leapfin product expert while providing insight on accounting and data management best practices
• Help design technical customer implementations and solutions with the Customer Success team
• Develop relationships with our customers’ leadership teams and help identify adoption and expansion opportunities
• Leverage your product and industry knowledge to assist our sales team throughout the sales cycle
• Consult our internal product and engineering teams and become the “voice of the customer” while imparting your industry expertise into Leapfin’s solution
• Provide user training to customers during implementation and as-needed
• Diagnose data-related issues working with APIs, data warehouses, and data pipelines

Minimum Qualifications 

• You have an accounting or finance background and have worked directly with these teams
• You’ve implemented or been a part of implementing complex ERP, billing, payment, or other accounting-related software
• 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing role such as solution consultant, solutions architect, or leadership role within accounting teams.
• Proven expertise in managing customer projects through to successful delivery
• 3-4 years hands-on experience using SQL and JSON
• Deep understanding of data warehousing, architecture, and pipeline technologies
• Experience with Python/Javascript
• Exemplary skills related to customer management and project delivery
• Experience at an early stage internet/software company

Preferred Qualifications 

• Strong understanding of accounting and finance concepts, such as Revenue Recognition, Matching Principle, Order-to-Cash Reporting, Transactional Matching, and Reconciliation
• Detailed experience working with accounting and finance software
